Summary:
The Mortgage Market Manager is responsible for the effective support, execution and direct implementation of established mortgage lending objectives, policies, and practice. This Market Manager will cover the North Carolina area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops, updates, and maintains a recruiting plan for assigned Market/Region and leads efforts to obtain best-in class talent for respective positions.
- In coordination with designed Mortgage Trainers, develops, updates and maintains an effective training plan including evaluation tactics, development plans and reporting metrics to measure success of all respective associates.
- Ensure that appropriate staffing levels are maintained at all times to provide high quality customer service levels.
- Regularly monitor the efficiencies of production standards.
- Ensure that regulatory compliance standards are met.
- Responsible for controlling operation/administrative expenses.
- Responsible for ensuring that all customer service problems are resolved.
- Responsible for developing community involvement activities and encouraging broad participation.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directly responsible for directing, coordinating, and evaluating designated units or certain personnel in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; providing pay change recommendations; disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the new knowledge, skills, and/or abilities requred in this position.
1. Bachelor (4 years college) degree and 2-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
