As an Associate Accountant – Tax, you will work with the Manager, Corporate Tax on direct corporate tax matters supporting tax compliance, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Job responsibilities
Tax Compliance
- Prepare federal, state and local income tax filings
- Preparation of apportionment reports for state income tax filings
- Review book to tax differences, including tax depreciation for a capital intensive business
ASC740 / Other Projects
- Drafting responses to tax notices and tax audit information document requests
- Identify process improvement initiatives to streamline and increase efficiencies
- Perform special projects as needed (e.g., ASC740 support, tax forecasting, international tax filings, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, with a major in Accounting or Finance
- 1+ years of experience in income tax or accounting, title flexible based on candidate experience level
- Ability to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple and shifting priorities
- CPA certification preferred
