You will responsible for preparing 3D Models, detailed drawings, design proposal drawings, and simulations. The ideal candidate will have some experience in mechanical handling or equipment procurement. You will be interfacing and coordinating with other engineering disciplines and the client in the development of the design.
Role Overview:
• The primary role of the Mechanical Designer is meeting with engineers to establish their requirements for a new or existing mechanical designs.
• Working on CAD software, such as Solidworks or Microstation, to create drawings and models in line with the design drawings and specifications.
• Creating designs in accordance with company regulations and client standards and values.
• Perform work using appropriate 2-D and 3-D computer-aided design and computer-aided engineering (CAD and CAE) tools.
• Support the procurement of equipment by developing procurement packages, reviewing quotations and evaluating them technically; review of vendor submittals and resolution of technical issues during the procurement of mechanical equipment.
