Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking an Network Automation Technician to join their team in Rocky Mount, NC. Shifts available are 7AM to 7PM or 7PM to 7AM; this is a 12-Month Contract with potential to extend and/or hire on permanent, based on performance.

Job Title: Network Automation Technician

Location: Rocky Mount, NC

Pay Range: $33-36/hour

Job Function:

  • Contribute to the completion of projects, manage own time on agreed targets, develop plans for own projects, and lead small project teams.
  • Demonstrate good planning, organizing, time management, and team participation skills.
  • Responsible for routine and preventive maintenance work to ensure all the equipment and systems work safely, efficiently, and reliably.
  • Generate and develop standard operating procedures and job aids to support systems and equipment.
  • Analyze operational process problems and recommend appropriate corrective and preventative actions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience; OR an Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 0+ years of experience.
  • Working knowledge of computer networking.
  • SQL, Java, C++, Microsoft Active Directory Knowledge and certificates would be a bonus.
  • CompTIA, Cisco, Palo Alto certifications a big plus.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop/ VNC, ticketing and help desk systems.
  • Familiar with industrial control systems such as DCS, PLCs, SCADAs, computerized systems, Historians, and/or SQL Server.
  • Experience in troubleshooting issues to root cause and recommending and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills {written and oral}.
