As a Payroll Analyst - Level 2 or Level 3 (Principal), your role at San Diego, CA will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. Ready to join forces with our visionary team? This position can be filled at either a Level 2 or 3. This position offers a 9/80 schedule but will require occasional support on an off-Friday or Saturday for approximately 4 hours per day. This is a full-time, in-office role but off-Friday and weekend work will be remote. In this job, you will: Weekly labor processing; bi-weekly payroll processing. Analyzes, audits, reconciles and resolves complex payroll processing issues to ensure paycheck accuracy. Ensures payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and federal, state and IRS regulations. Responds to auditing and regulatory inquiries. May work with system programmers to achieve solutions or administer company payroll system with outside service provider. Other duties as assigned. Your Expertise - Required Qualifications: Level 2: Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree. Level 3: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel and experience with V-Lookups and pivot tables. No clearance required to start. What Sets You Apart: Experience with Shop Floor Time or Cost Point T&E 10 timekeeping systems. Experience with Workday HRIS and Service Now. Payroll audit or processing experience. Experience with California overtime regulations.
