Laundry Aide - Temporary

Full Time - Temporary Position

Laundry attendant attends to the washing and handling of linen and personal laundry; he/she is responsible for all laundry; may be required to perform any or all of the following functions: collecting, sorting, washing and drying, folding, stacking and/or transporting laundry. As a representative and team member of environmental services department, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction.

Temporary - Full Time
Monday to Friday, 10am - 6pm
Pay Range $17.50 to $24.50 Depending on Experience

Knowledge

• The standard methods, materials, and equipment employed in laundry work;
• Cleaning and washing, procedures and the use of detergents, disinfectants, bleaches and other materials.

Skills

• Operate washers, dryers, irons and other laundry related equipment

• High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred.
