Faucets Maintenance II

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Onsite – Sheridan, AR 

 

Competitive Compensation: Starting at $31.25-$34.75 per hour for Maintenance II in our plant, with an additional $1.00 per hour for night shifts.

Shift Needed: Weekends 2nd, 5pm-5am - Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

We are looking for a Maintenance II Technician for our Faucets Department. This position will be based at our Sheridan, AR location, where we specialize in manufacturing high-quality kitchen and bathroom products, including faucets, sinks, showers, and lighting.  

 

Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities  

  • Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments by performing the following duties.  

  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. 

  • Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machine. 

  •  Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts. 

  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. 

  • Install and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. 

  • Basic repair and maintenance of physical structure of establishment. 

  • Sets up and operates basic machine tools. 

  • Operates cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. 

  • Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures. 

  • Must be able to read and interpret simple hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, structural blueprints. 

  • Utilize SAP system for work order. 

  • Monitor the efficiency of boiler system.

Key Qualifications  

  • Experience operating a forklift required or ability to obtain upon hire. 

  • Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.  

  • Must be at least 18 years old. 

 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in electronic/electrical roles, or equivalent combination of education and on-the-job training. 

  • Skills: 

  • Strong judgment skills to follow standard instructions and procedures. 

  • Ability to make minor decisions to meet quality and productivity goals. 

  • Certifications/Training: 

  • Forklift Operation 

  • Fall Protection 

  • Emergency Procedures 

  • Hazard Communication (Haz Comm) 

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) 

  • Injury and Illness Reporting 

  • Confined Space Entry 

  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Authorization

Additional Requirements

  • Physical Capability: Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, including bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 30 pounds or more. Regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.  The employee is frequently required to climb or balance, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
