Responsible for assisting with in-service programs, orientation skills day for nurses, and other staff in all clinical areas throughout the hospital. Â Serves as a resource person to staff and management. Participates in performance improvement activities as needed. Â Assists with hospital orientation and employee health nurse as needed.
Required LicensesRegistered Nurse
Current Registered Nurse Licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky OR a Current Registered Nurse Licensure with a multistate compact status.

Minimum Work ExperienceCurrent clinical experience.A minimum of three years experience as a Clinical Instructor preferred.
Required SkillsCertifications:Required certifications must be obtained through a LCRH approved program:• Certification as an instructor with the American Heart Association in BLS required, PALS, and/or ACLS preferred.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
