Position Title: CNC Programmer

Wage: $24-$28/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with strong programming experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CNC machining processes, be proficient in operating CNC machines, and have the ability to write and modify CNC programs to produce high-quality components. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. This is for an aluminum company.  

CNC Programmer Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs using software, e.g., G-code, Mastercam, SolidWorks
- Develop and maintain documentation for CNC programs and setups
- Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., lathes, mills, routers) to manufacture parts per specifications
- Conduct regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
- Perform inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure parts meet quality standards
- Identify and troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions as necessary
- Work closely with engineers and production team members to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Provide feedback on design and process improvements to enhance productivity and quality
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

CNC Programmer Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining or related field preferred
- Experience as a CNC machinist, with a strong focus on programming
- Experience with CNC machines or tools is a plus
- Proficient in CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code) and software
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining issues
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
