As a key member of our EHS Department, the Regional EHS Manager will work closely with our manufacturing sites on an array of EHS issues to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with federal, state and local regulations. As the liaison between Corporate EHS and our manufacturing locations, your responsibilities will include:

路 Supervising and ensuring Environmental, Health & Safety compliance with Corporate, State & Federal standards for multiple nationwide facilities.
路 Key areas of Health & Safety focus: Lockout Tagout, Personal Protective Equipment, Hearing Conservation, Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, Confined Space, Bloodborne Pathogens, Forklift, Fire Protection, Mechanical Power Press, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety, Emergency Action.
路 Key areas of Environmental focus: Air emissions compliance, storm water pollution prevention (SWPP), process wastewater, spill prevention control countermeasures (SPCC), pollution prevention (P2), hazardous waste management.
路 Conduct annual EHS audits and provide support and direction for corrective action.
路 Provide regulatory interpretation and guidance to Corporate, Divisions, and Plants.
路 Deliver required training programs and support to plant management and EHS personnel
路 Manage and organize network meetings and best practice development and sharing.
路 Monitor and coordinate plant EHS permitting and legal compliance.
路 Conduct investigations into injuries, incidents, chemical releases, and complaints.
路 Advise and support plants when contacting external bodies and authorities.
路 Recommend improvements in processes, design, procedures, and programs to minimize risk.
路 Network with other Regional EHS Managers.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
路 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in health & safety related field, or equivalent work experience. C.S.P designation is a plus.
路 8+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
路 Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.
路 Basic knowledge of EPA related standards.
路 Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
路 Proven project management skills.
路 Excellent oral and written communication skills.
路 The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
路 This position will be responsible for multiple locations throughout the US and Canada, requiring approximately 50% overnight travel.
