QPS Employment Group is hiring an Industrial Sewer for a company in Waterloo, IA. This is a contract to hire role.
Industrial Sewer Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch, assemble, and finish various fabric products according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet company standards and specifications; make adjustments as necessary
- Prepare and handle fabrics, ensuring proper cutting, measuring, and alignment before sewing
- Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
Industrial Sewer Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience with sewing in an industrial setting
- Multitasking and being able to get things done in a timely manner
- Attention to detail
