- Supervise and coordinate all on-site bridge construction activities for the, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, project plans, scheduled, and standards.
- Monitor project progress, maintaining high standards of work quality and adherence to project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, serving as the primary point of contact for on-site communication.
- Schedule and manage daily activities of the bridge construction crew, overseeing the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections, identify and resolve issues promptly, and maintain a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Conduct site meetings, prepare daily reports on project status, and ensure project timelines and milestones are met.
- Monitor project expenditures, assist in managing the project budget, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, safety records, and inspection reports.
- Enforce all safety policies and procedures, conduct safety meetings and training sessions, and ensure workers are equipped with appropriate safety gear.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
- 10+ years of work experience in bridge construction and/or civil infrastructure
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety standards for bridge construction
- Proficiency with various software / tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Exceptional organizational skills and communication abilities within all levels of an organization, including stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Willingness and ability to travel to various project sites throughout the region
