Essential Functions:
 Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas (including but not limited to hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe boots and seatbelts while operating forklifts)
 Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per quality standards and/or Safe Quality Food requirements.
 Perform all duties in the QA Technician job description if needed.
 Monitor and maintain water treatment system in accordance with the requirements of the production schedule.
 Ensure accurate test results by maintaining proper operation, cleanliness and calibration of laboratory equipment.
 Maintain laboratory cleanliness at all times.
 Conduct routine checks on production line as needed.
 Test products on hold and determine disposition.
 Assist and coordinate seam evaluation with OEM vendors.
 Send product samples to Columbus or Customers as required.
 Send water samples to 3rd party laboratory quarterly and annually.
 Conduct or carry out training as required to maintain and optimize performance or increase cross-function ability between departments.
 Conduct verification inspections of employee tasks or reports as needed to ensure product quality.
 Execute job according to QA standards and testing requirements in order to maximize process and minimize non-conformance.
 Must accurately complete all associated documents as per QA SOP Manual.
 Must place product on hold and manage product dispositions within shift.
 Must place finished product and raw materials on and off hold in SAP.
 Maintain yield performance per SKU.
 Perform forward washes and backwashes on all 3 carbon towers.
 Receive raw material into SAP.
 Conduct micro-sampling, platting and review.
 Able to perform all Blender, Quality Line Tech, and Sanitation responsibilities.
 Fill in as supervisor when required.
 Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor or management.

Required Skills and Competencies:
 Proficient in Excel, Word, SAP and Power Point
 Ability to analyze and solve problems, results oriented
 Organized and detail oriented, adaptable to change
 Strives for high quality performance and improvement in self-development and company metrics
 Experience in a fast-moving packaged goods environment, beverage production experience preferred
 Good interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal
 Solid understanding of production machinery/forklifts, including an awareness of technical issues
 Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
 Proven Leadership experience in a Production environment
 Formal training in areas such as HACCP, Hygiene etc. preferred
 Forklift certification required

Education and Experience:
 High School Certification
 Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality within a manufacturing environment, preferably food/beverage industry
 Knowledge of quality systems (GMP, HACCP, SQF, AIB) – certification ideal

Working Conditions:
 Physical – Continuously standing or walking. Regular requirements to lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight (up to 50lbs).
 Visual/Sensory-This position requires regular need to give moderate attention with one or two senses at a time.
 Work environment- Work and environment are very repetitive.
 Mental Stress- There is pronounced pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demands.
