Transport Coordinator- North Aberdeen

The Role

As Transport Coordinator you will support the transport function of the business, with the co-ordination of import & export road shipments from start to finish, including quotation, ensuring that clients receive excellent customer service throughout all aspects of their enquiry. You will liaise with internal & external clients for all transport related issues and bookings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide competitive pricing and transport solutions to clients that meet their needs.
  • Ensuring that awarded jobs and processed and followed through to completion.
  • Provide proactive updates to clients, resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Billing clients as per working SOPs.
  • Producing and completing all necessary paperwork, such as pre-alerts, CMRs.
  • Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth running of transport service.
  • Ensure job files are processed and completed within the TMS.
  • Load planning for both domestic and international trailers.
