Finance Assistant

Reed Accountancy are currently working with an established organisation who are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis. Working 3 days a week in the office, the successful candidate would assist across accounts in the day-to-day duties of credit control and supporting the company purchase ledger.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Resolving supplier queries efficiently and effectively
- Assisting with month-end tasks, such as reporting and accruals
- Performing credit control duties to ensure timely debt collection
- Chasing overdue payments
- Preparing customer statements and debt reports
- Maintaining credit control records
- Supporting the accountant with other transactional and ad hoc duties
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and credit control
- Excellent communication, verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail
