There is a great opportunity for a qualified teacher to join an Abingdon based Primary school, as a Year 2 Teacher. Your day to day will be to create lesson plans, demonstrate and adapt to all of the Abingdon students. Some of the students struggle with ADHD and Autism. Marking is expected within the role and behaviour managment follows a postive reinforcement style.

Details on Year 2 teacher role are:

The successful Year 2 teacher will need to:

* Be a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE or a Bachelor of Education. Early Careers Teacher (ECT) will also be considered* Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Year 2 pupils* Have good behaviour management skills* Be creative, proactive and a team player

The ideal candidate will be familiar with and have previously taught the UK Curriculum. The Year 2 Teacher appointed will be expected to offer engaging and forward-thinking lessons with the help of their teaching assistant. The teacher must be committed and have a passion for caring for children in their early and formative years.
