Description

Plan and manage logistics, transportation and customer services
Direct, coordinate and monitor the allocation of vehicles and drivers
Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports
Supervise, coach and train the logistics workforce
Develop and maintain operational reports
Ensure transportation and logistics processes align with legal and policy requirements
Identify and address operational issues and risks
Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes

Profile

A successful Transport Planner should have:

Strong knowledge of transport systems, logistics and distribution management
Experience within the haulage sector essential
