About the Role:

We seek a highly motivated and organised individual to join our client as a Policy & Administrative Support Officer. In this role, you will provide essential policy and administrative support to help shape and review the current guidelines. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, which is key in ensuring effective communication and interpretation of legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and clear advice on interpreting the current regulations to colleagues across departments.
  • Liaise with other teams and agencies to review and update policy and related guidance.
  • Assist the administrative officer in responding to queries, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Review and improve standard operating procedures to enhance the efficiency of the Legislation Office.
  • Draft policy position papers, briefings, and reports for senior managers and government officials.

  • Excellent Communication: Strong ability to write concisely and clearly, ensuring complex information is easily understood by a range of audiences.
