Candidates should have a degree in Process Safety and experience in an Upper Tier COMAH facility, with a strong understanding of risk assessments and COMAH legislation.
The role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a competitive salary offered based on qualifications and experience.

This is an onsite role based out of Alfreton, Derbyshire. The client is a market leader whose service provision spans multiple channels and applications. In return for your commitment, they will provide you with the know-how and support so you’ll become a subject matter expert.The Process Safety Manager will be responsible for:

Develop a culture of Process Safety & Health and Safety excellence
Accountable to the Head of SHEAQ Northern Europe for all matters relating to Process Safety across all relevant areas of the Business
Effective management of major accident hazard identification and risk assessment processes.
Participating in incident investigations and root cause analysis as well as conduct on-site inspections and audits of Process Safety procedures and practices.
Ensure that all Process Safety Accidents and Serious Near Misses are subjected to a full and thorough investigation.
Managing all Health and Safety for onsite staff.

The Process Safety Manager will need to have:

Educated to degree level in Process Safety
A thorough understanding of the best available techniques for carrying out comprehensive risk assessments as well as the identification of major accident hazards
Ideally previous experience of working within an Upper Tier COMAH facility, hence an appreciation of COMAH legislation
