A world leading manufacturer is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to join its team, in Hampshire, on a permanent basis.

The primary function of this role will involve the development of new products, equipment, processes and materials. You will interact with R&D personnel, manufacturing and their support function to improve processes and products.

You will support the development of products and processes in manufacturing throughout their lifecycle at acceptable cost, volume and quality performance levels. The role holder will apply knowledge in your core discipline to industrial processes and product development, problem-solving, and process improvement.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Developing processes from pilot plant, through to manufacturing.
  • Identify and implement suitable new technology, both from inside and outside industry.
  • Conducting feasibility studies on new processes and equipment.
  • Generation of engineering studies.
  • Commissioning new equipment and processes.
  • Design of experiments, data analysis and reporting. To include hands-on management of trials.

In order to be considered candidates will be degree qualified in an Engineering discipline. You will need experience in troubleshooting and monitoring processes and products. You will have optimised processes for manufacturing and have experience of process control methods. Candidates must have a demonstrable track record in a similar role. You will need strong data analysis skills.
