Assistant Management Accountant + Study

Altrincham

£32,000 - £35,000

The reason this role is so brilliant is because the current FC started her career at the business in this very role - so there is no one better placed to support, train and mentor you.

An FC who doesn't want you to just "report into" her but rather "partner up" with her - that's how inclusive this role is and that's how invested she is in this hire. Afterall, she is looking for her successor.

Usually with roles at Assistant Management Accountant level, you will be restricted to how involved you can be in the direction of a company… however this position opens the doors to a whole realm of career advancement.

You will be recruited into the company to support the FC in overhauling & streamlining the accounts function, identifying areas to improve efficiencies & productivity; this will then set you up perfectly to present in Board Meetings and really drive change for the company's future success.

On a regular basis, you will meet with the Directors to discuss business performance & areas of improvement, in turn developing your commercial awareness & knowledge from some of the most respected business professionals.

As this role will have this level of responsibility from as soon as winter 2024 (the first 6 months you will supported in integrating into the company and getting used to processes and procedures), it's essential you can demonstrate at least 12 months' experience of month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.

What you'll get from this role that you might not be now is the additional responsibilities - such as reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
