Our client is a rapidly growing tech start-up in South Manchester, and they are looking for an Office Manager/HR Coordinator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the growth of a dynamic and innovative company.

As the Office Manager/HR Coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations as well as managing the the day-to-day operations of the office, including overseeing administrative tasks, managing office supplies, coordinating office events, and supporting the executive team. The main duties and responsibilities will include:-

  • Overseeing the recruitment requirements
  • Onboarding new employees
  • Coordinating new starter inductions
  • Managing the 1-month and 3-month probation reviews (scheduling, attending, taking the notes necessary and following up with confirmation letters
  • Managing absences (sicknesses and holidays)
  • Managing termination processes
  • Building a Culture Pack and implementing this internally - creating a positive working environment
  • Keeping abreast of legislation. Implementing and communicating changes as necessary to keep the business legally compliant
  • Owning the ongoing review of the Staff Handbook and amending as necessary
  • Keeping the office fully stocked
  • Liaising with Landlords when remedial works are required (i.e. broken fridge, faulty air conditioning)
  • Managing the cleaning schedule
  • Ordering stationary / office supplies
  • Assisting with the Event Management (mainly in house staff events. Not corporate activities - This will be done by the EA)
  • Ad hoc tasks as required
