We are recruiting for an art school based in Amersham.

They're looking for a part time Administrator to join their small, close knit team working mornings 9.30 - 1.30, Mon to Wed usually based in the office and Thursdays and Fridays, working from home (although this will sometimes change so flexibility is key).

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, possess excellent communication skills, and be proficient in various office tasks.

£24k - £26k pro rata. This role will be offered on an initial 6 month contract with a view to go permanent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the team, including managing calendars and appointments
  • Handle phone calls and correspondence with professionalism and discretion
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
  • Coordinate meetings
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and financial data
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment
  • Utilise Google Suite for document management and collaboration
  • Assist with QuickFile for basic financial tasks

Skills/Experience

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Google Suite
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Previous experience in an administrative role is desirable
  • Data entry accuracy and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with QuickFile or other accounting software is a plus
