This newly created role is a rare opportunity to combine financial leadership with governance responsibilities, while playing a key part in shaping the future of a growing and ambitious organisation. You’ll work closely with the CEO, senior leadership team and Board of Trustees, with real scope to influence strategy and drive meaningful change.
What will the Finance Director role involve?
- Lead the finance function, providing strategic insight and guidance to support organisational goals.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, payroll, audit and statutory reporting.
- Act as Company Secretary, ensuring strong governance, compliance and regulatory standards.
- Drive long-term financial planning and modelling, while supporting and developing a small, capable team.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Director vacancy:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA with leadership experience – ideally within a charity (but not essential).
- Strong financial insight, great attention to detail, and a hands-on, can-do approach.
- Clear, confident communicator who can explain financials to all kinds of audiences.
- Collaborative, empathetic leader who shares our values of integrity, support and ambition, and is motivated by making a real impact.
