About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into classrooms on an ad hoc basis to deliver pre-set lessons and ensure students remain engaged in their learning. This is an ideal role for aspiring teachers looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing formal teacher training. You’ll have the flexibility to choose how many days you work each week, with up to five days available.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students are actively participating in their studies.
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Support students in meeting lesson objectives by addressing any questions or concerns.
- Gain experience across a variety of secondary schools, enhancing your understanding of different settings and teaching styles.
