Divisional Financial Controller

A high growth PE backed business in an exciting sector, are looking for a Commercially experienced and driven Finance leader who can help drive forward the performance of the business as it heads into the next phase of its ambitious growth plans. 

This Divisional FC role is a critical role and will provide strategic financial leadership, delivering robust financial planning and analysis and driving performance improvements. This key role will manage financial operations, working closely with the MD and CFO to develop and implement financial strategies, optimising working capital structure, enhance cash flow management and deliver financial reports that are insightful and support decision making. 

The role has a wide variety of factors to it, with this person being a key business partner with the MD to support and manage performance against the strategic plan - helping deliver the planned growth. The role will be asked to constructively challenge and influence the MD and other senior leaders, meaning a level of gravitas and resiliency is an absolute must. 

The CFO is looking for someone who lives and breathes finance business partnering - someone who can proactively develop that culture across the division and the wider group. This role will work closely with the CFO and have exposure to PE partners - meaning a high level of credibility is required. This is a role that will play a key part in all areas of the building and development of the strategy of the business. 

Extensive FP&A experience is required to handle the array of duties required - with this role being the key support role to the Senior Exec team. Stakeholder management skills will be tested and developed, and we are looking for someone who's ambitions match that of the business. 

We are looking for a Qualified finance leader with a strong background in commercial finance, and someone who can proactively lead projects and manage above as well as down. Experience in a fast paced, high growth business would be desireable, and interpersonal skills and confidence are a must.
