Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CSCS Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to contribute effectively to various construction projects. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites are safe, organised, and efficient. A background in masonry, bricklaying, or carpentry is advantageous, as well as familiarity with power tools and hand tools.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction and maintenance of structures, including masonry and bricklaying tasks.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Support roof installation and repairs as required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety and efficiency on site.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks in a timely manner while adhering to project specifications.
- Perform other labouring duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Valid CSCS card is essential.
- Experience in masonry, bricklaying, or carpentry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools safely.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Physical fitness is required for lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Previous experience in construction or similar labouring roles would be beneficial.
