Location: Ashford

Job Type: Full time/permanent (Wednesday to Friday) - Hybrid working.

Salary: 25,000 - 26,000 per annum (Pro rata)

We are looking for a Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Ashford based client, this is a wonderful opportunity to join a highly reputable organisation that places staff well being at the forefront of everything they do!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payment from clients.
  • Perform credit control duties to minimise overdue balances and reduce company risk.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and compile essential financial reports.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of accounting reconciliations and other basic accounting tasks.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in credit control and accounts receivable roles.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
