A global Engineering consultancy are now seeking a Fire Engineer to join their nationwide team, in a remote position.

This is an opportunity for a Fire Engineer to work with a range of clients and properties, not only in the UK but across the world, with projects in the US, Philippines and more.

The Fire Engineer's Role

As a Fire Engineer, you'll be involved in diverse projects spanning residential developments, new builds, and remediation schemes.

  • Conduct fire safety assessments, including fire compartmentation and external wall systems.
  • Develop and implement fire strategies to meet project specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance on fire safety compliance for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure fire safety is integrated into designs.
  • Contribute to remediation projects, addressing fire safety concerns in existing buildings.

The Successful Fire Engineer Will Have

  • A degree in Fire Engineering or relevant qualification.
  • Member of IFE.
  • Proven experience in fire strategy design, compartmentation, and faade fire safety.
  • Strong understanding of UK fire safety regulations, including PAS 9980.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and project teams.
