Job Description:

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join our team to work across either Primary or SEN Schools in Ashford

As a Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education for students by delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring a positive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who enjoy flexibility and variety in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons across various subjects and year groups
  • Managing classroom behavior and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Adhering to school policies and procedures
  • Providing feedback on students' progress to the regular classroom teacher
  • Adapting to different school environments and requirements

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience in teaching, preferably within the UK
  • Previous experience working in a SEN School would be an advantage
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to new situations and work effectively in different school settings
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
