About the Role

We currently have an opportunity for a Training Admin Technician to join the Dungeness B Performance Improvement Team. The Performance Improvement team provide technical and safety training programs and Business improvement oversight for the Station.

As the Training Admin Technician, you will primarily be responsible for carrying out training administration tasks to maintain accurate records of all staff training and authorisations using the My Learning System. Additionally, you will be supporting the Business improvement team with meeting pack production when required.

The role is 20hrs per week part time. Days and working hours to be mutually agreed. The role will be based on site at Dungeness B with some option for remote working albeit regular time is required at site.

  • Setting up training events
  • Inputting Group Training sheets
  • Personal Role allocations/deletions
  • Processing Authorisations
  • Processing Accreditations/Exemptions
  • Use of the My Learning system - Training will be provided
  • Producing reports
  • Facilitating the learning centre
  • Co-ordination of training programmes
  • Preparation of packs for business improvement team
  • Future development into a training programme support role

Your Knowledge, Skills and experience

Essential:

  • Excellent team working skills.
  • Strong organizing and planning skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good Mathematical and English Skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience of in-house HR/ training electronic record systems
