Summary of role

Handling a varied caseload of private and legal aid funded criminal defence casesRepresenting clients from initial caution through to case conclusionDealing with ranging matters from police caution through to Magistrates / Crown Court

Main tasks and responsibilities

Manage a range of criminal cases, including traffic matters, serious violence, murder, sexual offences, fraud, and public order and dishonestyDevelop and maintain strong client relationships, providing commercially viable advice and supportProvide representation in court, ensuring the best possible outcome for clientsWork collaboratively with other departments within the firm to provide comprehensive legal servicesTo ensure confidentiality of the firm's and clients' documents and information, maintaining the highest standard of client care
