You will be one of the first Employment Advisors to join this brand-new programme. They will teach you how to be an IPS specialist (which is a specialist methodology for supporting those with mental health support needs.  This service is supporting those with primary mental health needs and working closely with the NHS.The remaining vacancy is in Tameside where you will collocate at either an NHS or Local Authority site.  You will have a caseload of around 25 clients in total, aiming for around 2 job starts a month (with job sustainment’s at 3 months).  Around 25% of your caseload will currently still be employed but might have challenges in their current employment (for example they could be signed off for stress).  Day to day you will be supporting your clients with career planning, job searching or preparing for interviews.Please apply via this advert.  Everyone gets a response.  If you would like to find out more about this role, feel free to call the office and ask for David (number on the Red 5 People website).You might have previously worked as an Employment Advisor, Careers Advisor, Mental Health Support Worker or have some experience in supporting people back into employment.
