Are you passionate about safeguarding and making a meaningful impact in your community? Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Safeguarding Support Officer to join their team in Aylesbury. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of essential safeguarding services.

What You'll Do:As a Safeguarding Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Safeguarding Manager in operational safeguarding tasks.
  • Processing safeguarding referrals and concerns during office hours (Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM).
  • Coordinating referrals and organising Safety Visits.
  • Assisting in training coordination and policy updates to align with national legislation and safeguarding boards.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitoring performance and compiling data for safeguarding reports and audits.

Essential Criteria:

  • Five GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths.
  • Level 1, 2, and 3 Children's & Adults Safeguarding Training (or willingness to pursue).
  • Full valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Experience in safeguarding children or vulnerable adults.
  • Proficient in IT systems and excellent organisational skills.
  • A DBS is required.
