The Geotechnical Engineer selected will have a range of responsibilities. This includes:
- Overseeing site investigations.
- Groundwater and gas monitoring.
- Soil and rock logging.
- Communicating with clients.
- Mentoring junior team members.
- Factual and interpretive report writing.
To be considered for this Geotechnical Engineer position you should have a degree in a subject relevant to the position, for example geology, earth sciences or civil engineering. Experience in the geotechnical industry as an engineer or consultant is essential, as well as a Full UK Driving Licence, as travel to sited will be frequent. You must also have a full right to work in the UK and live commutable to Aylesbury. You should have good communication skills, an ability to work within a team and be/working towards chartership.
