Our client, a charity based in Stokenchurch, is looking for a Data Officer to join them on a permanent basis.
This role is paying £25k - £28k and is hybrid (3 days at home, 2 in the office).
As a member of the Fundraising Team, the Database Officer will assist in the management and development of the fundraising database, championing it as an asset within the organisation and to promote data-driven decision making.
They will use their broad range of technical skills to uphold the highest standards of data integrity whilst constantly looking to improve processes and deliver actionable insights. These insights will enable the fundraising teams to implement audience focused fundraising campaigns that deliver long-term sustainable income, as well as mutually beneficial relationships with our supporters.
Duties include
- Running regular data imports into the CRM system
- Running regular data hygiene processes including deduplication/merging
- Monthly income reconciliation with Support Engagement and Finance Team
- Working with the Data Manager to conduct regular data audits, monitoring out the business uses data
- Provide database selections to fundraising teams
- Contribute to the creation and optimization of the data segmentation model
- Develop and run regular and ad hoc reports
- Produce campaign results to support an evidence based culture and implement a test, refine and roll out approach to campaign management
Skills and Experience
- Experience dealing with large data sets
- Experience of building reports and analysing data in MS Excel, SQL, Access
- Customer Relationship Management and its practical application
- Knowledge of GDPR
- Good working understanding of analytical tools or languages
- Strong data management skills
