We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive team at a school in Aylesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and compassionate teacher who wants to make a real difference in students' lives, helping them overcome barriers and reach their full potential.

What to Expect in the Role:

As a SEN Teacher, you will work closely with students who have a range of special educational needs, providing tailored support in both one-on-one and group settings. You’ll collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external specialists to create a nurturing learning environment that fosters each student's academic, social, and emotional development.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of students with SEN

  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate individual learning styles and needs

  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCO, and other staff to support student progress

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues

  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN or willingness to train

  • Strong understanding of special educational needs and differentiation strategies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patience, empathy, and resilience

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build positive relationships with students and parents
