We are working with an established engineering company in the Maidstone area who are looking to employ a Bookkeeper permanently, in office.
The package includes a competitive salary, great annual leave package including bank holidays, a company pension and free on-site parking.
The key responsibilities include:
* Introducing PAYE information onto the accounts software.
* Sales/Purchase invoicing including bank reconciliations.
* Credit control.
* Inputting Staff expenses onto accounts software.
* Monthly management accounts.
* Year end accounts functions.
* Liaising with Auditors regarding Corporation Tax & VAT.
* Assisting Management Team with expenses and budgets.
* Creating POs and sending them to Suppliers.
* Cashflow functions weekly and monthly.
* Keeping stock levels up to date.
* Other ad hoc tasks such as arranging travel and answering the phone.
The requirements:
* Experience with MS Navision / Business Central is a great advantage but not essential.
* Experience managing inter-company accounts.
* Open to travelling to Spain every 6-9 months.
* Competent with month-end accounts.
* Management accounts experience.
* Friendly, approachable demeanour.
* Ability to work in small team and independently.
