Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer matters or concerns
- Work closely to build and maintain effective customer relationships
- Main point of contact and management of communications between the customer and internal teams.
- Generate and provide detailed reports as per customer requirements
- Review account performance for scorecard enhancement
- Monitor and maintain various customer portals
- Review and update customer orderbook
- Help with marketing plans, design marketing material and social media content
- Support senior account manager and commercial team as required
- Develop a thorough understanding of the customer products and markets to ensure all opportunities for growth are recognised
- Work closely with other internal departments to ensure overall quality of service
- This company is currently trialling a 4-day work week, with compressed hours of the following:
- Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 17:00
- Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 17:30
- Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 18:00
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a customer facing role ideally within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, both face to face, telephone and be confident presenting to all levels within an organisation.
- Excellent written communication skills both via email and also for social networking sites
- Excellent organisational skills and able to effectively manage time with the ability to multitask.
- A good business acumen
- Capacity to work under pressure and ability to work to timelines.
- Educated to at least A Level or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Insight 123 or other MRP/ERP/CRM systems
- Must be adept in the use of Microsoft package, particularly excel, outlook and word
