Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting for the exciting role of AuditManager within the Finchley Central area in NorthLondon.

What does this role entail? Here is a very brief snapshot:

  • The chance to lead an audit and deliver audit assignments from planning through to completion
  • Working with the wider team and support the training, supervision and coordination of junior members of the team
  • Taking ownership of assignments and delivery to budget
  • Identifying opportunities to provide added value to clients
  • Working closely with clients to ensure the deliver timely and relevant information

What are the essentials for this role?

  • Experience in leading an audit and delivering audit assignments from planning through to completion.
  • Either qualified (ACA or ACCA) candidates or trainees at the final stage of their professional qualification
  • Working with the wider team and support the training, supervision and coordination of junior members of the team.
  • Ability to form professional relationships and work closely with clients, to ensure they deliver timely and relevant information.
  • Experience in the preparation of financial statements under FRS102, FRS102-1A. Preparation of financial statements under IFRS is beneficial.
  • Someone who takes ownership of assignments and delivery to budget.
  • Identifying opportunities to provide added value to clients.
  • Outstanding communication: keeping the team and clients abreast of the progress on assignments.
  • Knowledge of Caseware and CCH software is beneficial
  • Experience of groups and consolidation is beneficial
  • Up to date working knowledge of financial reporting, auditing standards and company law
