About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Food Technology Teacher to join our thriving department, located in Barnet. The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching Food Technology to KS3 and KS4 students and will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Food Technology for Key Stage 3 and 4
- Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure all students can succeed
- Contribute to the development of the Food Technology curriculum
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and engaging curriculum delivery
Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Food Technology, Home Economics, or a related subject
- Experience teaching Food Technology at Key Stage 3 and 4 (desirable but not essential)
- Passion for food and nutrition education
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
