?? About the RoleWe are seeking a Business Support Officer to provide efficient and confidential support for Children Safeguarding Conferences in Barnsley. The role involves minute-taking at least 3 conferences per week, with follow-up work on a specialist database.

?? Key Responsibilities:? Minute-taking during face-to-face Children Safeguarding Conferences and accurately recording decisions using mobile IT devices.? Providing business support to frontline and statutory services.? Handling telephone and face-to-face enquiries, providing advice and guidance.? Managing diaries & appointments, ensuring meetings are organised efficiently.? Processing & responding to correspondence, handling sensitive information securely.? Liaising with stakeholders (internal & external) to maintain communication links.? Data analysis & reporting, producing high-quality reports for senior managers.? Assisting in the development of internal business support systems.? Financial administration, including processing payments and placing orders.

?? Requirements:? Strong administrative experience, ideally within a public sector or safeguarding environment.? Minute-taking skills, with the ability to record discussions quickly and accurately.? Excellent IT skills, particularly in database management and electronic systems.? Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.? Strong communication & organisational skills, with attention to detail.? Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure.
