The role will be wide and varied, with a mixture of Inbound and Outbound Activity, overseeing inbound enquiries via various channels, processing orders, whilst also researching and undertaking some outbound activity to promote the company and their products.

The company products are of high quality, with excellent reviews and they are the leaders in the marketplace, with some well known buyers.

Role:-

As the dedicated Sales Development Manager, you'll play a key role in driving their ambitious growth plans forward. Along with converting the incoming enquiries from the inbound marketing strategies, your main goal will be to build new relationships and business with customers across a range of sectors from the domestic, public and private sectors including retail. You will also be expected to develop the existing key customers by exploring opportunities for business growth.

Typical Day/Week:-

  • Converting incoming enquiries to sales
  • Identify and convert upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Building your prospect list
  • Devising appropriate lead generation and sales development strategies, including a multi-channel approach.
  • Identifying opportunities.
  • Nurturing relationships with existing clients.
  • Building relationships with potential clients.
  • Converting potential clients to long-term customers.
  • Manage and record sales development activities as they build their internal process.

Person:-

This is very much a proactive sales development role, so you'll need to enjoy and be confident in liaising with customers predominantly via the phone and various other communication methods. You'll work closely with the marketing function to ensure alignment with campaigns to get the most from your development work. You will ideally have an outgoing and confident personality, able to put your stamp on things and make the role your own to maximise your impact.

  • To be a confident communicator (including outbound calling).
  • Comfortable with the standard IT packages and CRM systems.
  • Comfortable in a sales development capacity with accountability.
  • The ability to build relationships and grab attention.
  • To be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • A high level of organisation and attention to detail.
  • Availability to work with flexibility.
  • Proven track record in a previous sales role

What's in it for you?

  • £30k Salary + Excellent Incentive Scheme (Up to 1.5% for Inbound activity with OTE Circa up to £15k. Up to 3% for Outbound Activity with OTE Circa up to £15k. Therefore Total earnings can be IRO of up to £60k
