Experienced Finance Manager required for a well-established business in Barnsley with a long and very successful history that has significantly diversified over recent years. This is an exciting time to join them as they expand through new acquisitions and developments.

Initially a fixed-term contract this role requires an immediate start.

Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Finance Managers role is pivotal in overseeing the financial management:

  • Managing a small transactional team.
  • Preparing monthly management accounts including profit and loss reports, balance sheet recs etc.
  • Cashflow forecasting and management.
  • Monitoring and reporting on financial performance.
  • Collaborating with senior management to drive operational efficiency and growth.

The person:

  • Previous experience within an SME is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis is required.
  • Working independently and managing multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills are required.
