Interim Finance Manager (12-Month FTC)Salary: Up to £60,000Location: Sheffield (Hybrid working available)Reports to: CFO
Elevation Recruitment Group are working alongside client that are looking for a talented and experienced Interim Finance Manager for 12 months, covering a maternity leave. Based in Sheffield, this role will offer you the opportunity to play a key part in managing the financial health of the organisation and driving business success.
What you’ll be doing:In this role, you’ll be overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to guide key business decisions. You’ll manage cash flow to keep the business solvent and able to fund its operations. You’ll also be in charge of producing financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) and ensuring that accounting records are accurate.
On top of this, you'll be handling VAT, corporation tax, payroll taxes, and other compliance requirements, ensuring the business meets all its regulatory obligations. A big part of the role will also involve identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability, while supporting growth.
What we’re looking for:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with experience in financial management.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Experience in managing tax and compliance matters, including VAT and payroll taxes.
- Proven ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
- Experience in banking relationships, securing finance, and working with external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency with accounting software and financial systems.
