Role: Junior IT Operations Engineer
Location: South Humber, North Lincolnshire
Salary: Up to £28,000 DoE

This hybrid role is based a short drive from the Humber Bridge with flexible working arrangements after an initial probationary period. You will be primarily office-based for the first six months, with some remote work available afterward.

The Role:
Working within a diverse technical operations team, you will help maintain the company's IT infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and learn from senior engineers in the network, server, and security fields. You'll play a key role in supporting over a 1,000 users, contributing to various projects, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the management and maintenance of IT systems, including networks, servers, and security.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and escalating them to senior engineers when needed.
- Participating in IT projects, from upgrades to new implementations.
- Providing exceptional service to internal users
- Gaining exposure to virtualisation, cloud services, and other advanced IT systems.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Prior experience in a 1st line support role.
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and Active Directory.
- An understanding of virtualisation technologies (e.g., VMware, HyperV) is a plus.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Full driving license (requried).
