Commercial Administrator - Nottingham

Our fabulous client in Nottingham are looking for a Commercial Administrator to join their East Midlands region, to support their ever-growing team and provide vital administrative support to the social housing team! 


As a Commercial Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring Contractors are paid correctly and accurately
  • Ensuring purchase orders are raised within a timely fashion
  • Ensuring all related documentation is filed accordingly
  • Using the COINS system to carry out accounting duties
  • Assisting in regular internal audits on commercial and operational procedures being followed
  • Providing cost related information to other departments when required.
  • Administration duties at Procurement stage, preparing enquiry packs, collating tender information
  • Maintain storage rooms so that files and stock are correctly stored, archived and organised to ensure the room is kept accessible and always well presented.
  • Update the drawing register and notify the surveyors and the technical and site departments of any new revisions
  • Assisting the Commercial team with document management, ensuring procedures are established and followed
  • Completing any Ad Hoc Duties required by the wider team or Directors

 

About You

  • GCSE / A Levels or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience with COINS system is beneficial.
  • Previous experience working in an administrative OR similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Customer service skills.
  • IT and Excel literate.
