Facilities Help Desk ManagerBasildon (full time, office based)I am recruiting for an exciting position of Facilities Helpdesk Manager for a growing company based in Basildon. This company specialise in providing reactive and planned maintenance to national high street retailers of specialist designer brands, as well as other clientele. They have been an expert in their field for over thirty years and are a well-established company who have a great team dynamic and due to many major contract wins are regularly growing and expanding. Due to this growth and having moved to new modern serviced offices, they are now looking for an experienced, dynamic, motivated individual to fill this core position within the Management team.We are looking for someone with Facilities Helpdesk Management experience (planned and reactive), ideally within the retail sector. Someone who is a passionate and aspiring person to provide full Help Desk Management and Supervision to their team.Your focus will be to ensure the efficient day to day running of the Help Desk, ensure Help Desk staff are carrying out correct processes, when completing jobs, updating, further works etc whilst providing motivational support and assistance.Your core duties will be:Managing and supporting the Help Desk supervisorManagement of Helpdesk Co-ordinators including disciplinaries working with HR and Managing DirectorAppraisals for Help Desk staffAttend and participate in Operations meetings and monthly meetings with Managing Director to report on Help Desk targets, progress, and any issues.Weekly/monthly meetings with Help Desk Staff to discuss clients progress and issues.Work closely with Operations Manager training new and existing staffWeekly/fortnightly meetings with Operations Manager to discuss helpdesk issues, progress, and process.Jobs allocations, managing levels of work coming in and to check information on jobs.Customer escalations Overseeing QuotesEnsuring the co-ordinators are on top of jobs and they are being dealt with correctly.If you have experience as a Facilities Helpdesk Manager looking for the next step in your career, I want to hear from you
