Job Purpose:

As the Early Years Assistant Manager, you will:

  • Collaborate with the nursery management team to inspire and lead staff in providing high-quality, inclusive early years education and care in line with our policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a role model, demonstrating sensitive and responsive interactions that extend children’s learning experiences.
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are consistently met and maintained.

Requirements:

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Post-qualification experience working in early education, childcare, or a similar environment.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear and concise reports, business plans, child protection/safeguarding reports, and recruitment documentation, using Microsoft Word and other tools.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate others, set clear objectives, and maintain high standards for yourself and the team.
  • An enhanced DBS check will be required if your current certificate is not subscribed to the update service.

  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, 52 weeks a year
