Business Development Executive
Location: Essex (Covering London and Surrounding Areas)
Salary: £50,000–£65,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Overview
Our client, a global distributor of tube, pipe, fittings, flanges, and valves, is seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Executive to join their team. This external role involves being out on the road 3 to 4 days per week, targeting the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) market across London and the surrounding areas.
Job Role
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients within the EPC market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
- Act as a key contact for clients, providing expert knowledge on tube, pipe, fittings, flanges, and valves.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations, proposals, and quotes tailored to their needs.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless delivery and high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategies.
Requirements
- Previous experience within the metals industry is essential.
- Strong knowledge of tube, pipe, fittings, flanges, and valves.
- Proven track record in business development, preferably targeting the EPC market.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Full UK driving license.
